Coral Lips

Coral Lips is one of my new found loves. Lip colour is another thing that i'm a little 'obsessed' with. In the Autumn and Winter i wore a lot of deep vampy reds and purple tones (much like the nail varnish), however i've never really experimented with lip colour in the spring, until this year. One of my favourite colours this spring in general is coral,
coral anything and i'll most likely approve of it. Bright lip colours can really transform an outfit/make up look. I love paring corals with a bronzed, neutral eye look, and neutral clothing.

Rendezvous

Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain - This was the first in my 'coral collection'. I am a massive fan of the Balm Stains, they have really good lasting power and just look amazing on the lips and they aren't as drying as most lip stains. I apply barely any vaseline to the lips and then apply the balm stain. Rendezvous is definitely on the more orange side of coral which looks lovely on most skin tones. As this is a 'Balm Stain' it isn't as pigmented as a lipstick so you can apply it sheer and then build it up to you liking. I would say this is a good coral for beginners as it isn't to bright/in your face.

These are £7.99 and can be picked up at Boots or Superdrug. There are only around 10 available in the UK, I'm patiently waiting for them to bring more colours over from the US.

Stay With Me Coral

Maybelline Super Stay 14hr Lipstick - This is my newest lipstick and is already one of my favourites. As these are a long wearing formula they are matte which can be drying. I absolutely love wearing matte lipstick in the spring/summer with a dewy skin. This is a true pink coral and looks very vibrant on the lips. It definitely does last for a long time, however after about 5hours it does start to dry the lips out, however i find adding a lip gloss or some of my trusty ol' vaseline works a treat to make it look more glossy.

These are £6.99 and can be purchased from Boots or Superdrug. There is quite a large colour range so if you like a matte lip, definitely check these out!

Coral Queen

Rimmel London Moisture Renew Lipstick - Coral Queen is definitely my favourite out of the three as the colour  is the perfect in between of the above, it isn't drying at all and has wonderful staying power. It wears nicely as well as it doesn't settle into cracks in the lips. The Moisture Renew line is one of my favourite lipstick lines at the drugstore/on the hightstreet. It applies so nicely and just looks good on the lips, again i would wear this with a golden neutral eye and natural skin.

These are £6.29, so the cheapest of these three. You can pick this up at Boots and Superdrug. The colour range is brilliant and ranges from light nudes to dark purples.
