Review: Bourjois, Color Boost

Bourjois Color Boost, Red Sunrise

The lip crayon hype is only getting larger. I am a massive fan of the Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stains so i was super excited to hear that another highstreet/drugstore brand were bring some out!

The Bourjois Color Boost's definitely don't disappoint, they are incredible.  They have a lovely glossy finish, and something that is quite unusual for a lipstick is that it has SPF15! Sun protection for the lips is very important and a step people tend to forget, burt lips is (i would say, from experience) worse that burnt skin. They glide on very smoothly and give a amazingly pigmented colour. It also claims that they are waterproof, which i haven't tested out, but definitely will when i go on holiday! I have the shade 01 Red Sunrise it is a gorgeous raspberry-red, which is perfect for summer! The lightweight formula is amazing, and has pretty long lasting formula!

There are only four shades in the summer collection at the moment, however they are all beautiful, which is unusual as there are normal some 'off shades' in drugstore collections! There's a bright pink called 'Fuchsia Libre', a peachy pink called Peach on the Beach which i absolutely love the name off, and finally an incredible orange colour called Orange Punch, I absolutely love all of the shades and will most likely get them all. I never thought i would say this but i think i have found a lip product that i prefer to the Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stains *Gasp* i just find that these are smoother and a lot more moisturising! I cannot wait to see what colour's they bring out in the Autumn/Winter!

These retail for £7.99, in Boots and Superdrug.
